Top width F = D + 2·E·C; area G = (D + F)·E / 2,000,000 (m²); excavation I = G·H. Single-pipe backfill assumes one pipe projected area spv = (B/2)²·π·H, double-pipe assumes 2·spv. Backfill soil 1 (K) omits the cushion, backfill soil 2 (O) includes the cushion and aboveground part. Backfill sand N = E·H·M / 1,000,000. Suitable for trapezoidal sections; set slope C = 0 for a rectangular section. π = 3.14.
