Multiphase Studio
A web-based multiphase flow simulator for pipelines and wellbores — steady & transient hydraulics inspired by OLGA-class tools.
Engineering calculations use established correlations (Beggs & Brill, Lockhart-Martinelli, Hagedorn-Brown, Gray, Dranchuk-Abu-Kassem, Lee, Standing, Peng-Robinson). Results are approximate and for screening/educational use. Validate against licensed simulators before design.

Flowsheet — Process Flow Diagram
Draw the process on the canvas, then solve it as a real hydraulic network. Drag equipment from the palette, pull a link from an outlet port to an inlet port, edit the selected item on the right, and press Solve — pressures, flows, velocities, erosion limits and equipment duties are annotated straight onto the drawing.
Drag a block to move it · drag from the right-hand port to another block's left port to connect · wheel to zoom · drag empty space to pan · Del to remove the selection.

Pipe Network Solver
Multi-branch network with junctions and manifolds. Nodal pressures are solved by damped Newton-Raphson; branch flows follow from the friction law.
Graphical network builder
Pick a node type, click empty canvas to drop it. Switch to “Link”, click two nodes to connect a branch. “To deck” writes the input deck below.

Equipment
Chokes with critical/subcritical multiphase flow, centrifugal pumps, polytropic compressors and Souders-Brown separator sizing.
Inputs

Along-route profile
Steady pressure / temperature / holdup / velocity vs position

Transient network
Quasi-steady line-pack transient of a pipe network

Severe Slugging (Riser Base)
Boe criterion and the Pots number Πss classify riser-base severe slugging, with cycle time, slug volume and pressure swing.

Slug Tracking — Transient Two-Phase Simulator
A 1-D semi-implicit drift-flux solver marches the pipeline-riser in time so that slugs are not assumed but emerge: terrain and severe-slugging cycles grow out of the topography, and the space-time holdup map shows every slug travelling to the outlet.
Inputs
Results
Shutdown Cooldown & No-Touch Time
Multi-layer insulation U-value, lumped-capacitance cooldown curve, and the time available before the fluid reaches the wax or hydrate temperature.
Inputs
Results
Flow Assurance
Hydrate formation curve and inhibitor dosage, wax deposition, API RP 14E erosional velocity and de Waard-Milliams CO₂ corrosion in one screening pass.
Inputs
Results
Pigging & Liquid Surge
Liquid inventory swept by the pig, slug growth, outlet surge rate and the slug-catcher volume required downstream.

Two-Fluid Simulator — Compressible Multi-Field Kernel
A fully conservative semi-implicit (ICE) two- and three-field solver: each phase carries its own mass and momentum equation, coupled through a face-implicit drag/wall-shear matrix and a pressure equation that enforces the volume constraint Σα=1 to machine precision. Energy, wax deposition, hydrate risk, Peng-Robinson PVT, wellbore inflow and adaptive mesh refinement are all optional add-ons.
