Plastic Piping Test Pressure

Test pressure for plastic mains and service lines per para. 842.4.2: not less than 1.5 × maximum operating pressure or 50 psig (340 kPa), whichever is greater; and not exceeding 3.0 × design pressure (thermoplastic ≤ 100°F / 38°C), 2.0 × design pressure (thermoplastic > 100°F), or 3.0 × design pressure (RTP).
